SCUF is kind of the name in high-end, eSports controller design—and the ENVISION PRO is the cream of the crop for traditional, console-style controllers to use with your PC. This top-tier device won’t leave you wanting for control: with five dedicated, mappable G-Keys on the bottom, remappable paddles on the back for additional quick-action control, and even adjustable triggers to dial in just the right amount of travel for your needs Read More
No issues hardware-wise. Everything worked as expected. Issues stem from setting up macros and reassigning buttons. It is very painful navigating the software and even more so with Elgato software integration. I'll work with it some more. Hopefully, it'll become more a part of my gaming setup over time. Would still recommend it but with caveats.
After using the controller for 6 months I cant seem to recommend this controller. Number one thing is in order to use controller you have to download the icue software, without it the controller is unusable. Beside that after downloading and updating the software/ tweaking settings on the controller, out of the box it comes with stick drift pulling towards the right on the right analog stick knowing it was refurbished i can give it an exception, except for the triggers when sent to instant and to 0% deadzone they activate on their own, for a controller claiming to be a gaming controller and instant buttons sure feels like a low quality product especially the software not saving the settings onto the memory or the computer
Disconnects constantly if used with wireless dongle. Emailed scuf since drop states "all sales final" in regards to refurbished products which I was unaware of at time of purchase.
Hello and didn't expect a reply, so thanks for that. I am in communication with scuf support to see if there is something that can be remedied, since the warranty would be serviced through scuf directly and not drop correct?
If I misunderstood that aspect, are you able to service the 90 day warranty?
Thanks again
JddddWe are all the same company these days (Corsair owns both Scuf and Drop). Our customer service is under one umbrella as well. If you experience any challenges getting a response please flag to me here.
@amycs tagging you if you are able to follow up on this.
I've owned this product for a couple of days now and the out of the box experience was awful.
The right analog stick drifted all the way down, requiring a 60% percent dead zone for my aim to not pull straight to the ground. I immediately contacted customer support for troubleshooting/to initiate a return.
Customer service was prompt and helpful with their reply (kudos to drop, for me that takes this from 1 to 2 stars). I was able to recalibrate the sticks and this seems to have alleviated the issue, but I have trouble understanding how this wasn't addressed in the process of refurbishing the product. This also raises concerns for me regarding other qc issues and the longevity of this controller.
The controller itself actually feels good and I enjoy the ergonomics. However, the remappable buttons have essentially been useless for me since when I remap the buttons it reflects the changes that I made but the settings do not carry over in game (despite numerous restarts of my pc). After 2 days of playing, icue has crashed on me multiple times, leaving any paddles or g-keys with no assigned action. I also have an entire corsair build and have had virtually no issues with icue, adding this controller has just seemed to increase crashing.
Tldr: Qc on this controller was poor and I have doubts this controller will last any more than a few months. The remappable buttons have not been useful for me due to the mappings applying to icue, but not my game. Icue is horribly unreliable and leaves any extra buttons unusable when icue crashes.
