jeffpeppersI think the more important factor is that Amazon offers free returns if the shoe is a poor fit. To me that's worth more than $10 considering how hit or miss shoe sizes tend to be.
In order for me to even consider the possibility of ordering shoes that are final sale from a brand I've never owned, they would have to carry a discount of at least 30% over any competing retailer. Based on experience with online ordering, that's roughly equivalent to the probability that they won't fit. If they don't fit, I'll have to choose between giving them away if I can find someone, reselling them at a loss, or letting them sit in the closet until I finally decide to throw them out.
