Is Massdrop a Seiko authorized dealer? If not, get out your checkbook if anything goes wrong with the watch.

NortherLightsI believe Seiko watch quality is mostly determined by country of origin. Their cheaper watches are made in China, I think it was, and had some QC issues, but their more expensive models (Monsters and up) are known to be built really well.

NortherLightsMassdrop's source of them most likely is, and I guess warranty issues would be done on the distributor's authority.
Anyhow, with a Seiko, the odds for something going wrong are definitely stacked in the buyer's favor. Not to mention, this is an automatic quartz model (runs on a button cell battery) which are definitely less prone to failure by design.
Massdrop if you're reading this, we also want g-shocks!

Leukybear@NortherLights No, Massdrop is not an AD. Although, this watch comes with the Seiko 2-year manufacturer warranty. There will be a warranty card and additional warranty information inside the watch box.
