The lug to lug width of the SSA379J1 is 18mm or 20mm? Amazon and other sites list theirs as 20mm instead of 18mm.

RayFYea it does. I'm planning to get a nato for it. If you gona get a brand new item for it might as well get something which fits right? Besides it's quite a nice watch. Its a pity for the strap to ruin it. Plus it's my first open heart watch.
I may not put the nato on it and just ride with the leather strap which stones with it, but still I don't want to get reminded that I could have done better by getting a nato which actually fits every time I want to know what time it is.

WatchyoutalkingaboutNot possible unless you remove some studs. Even so looks like thr strap is way too thick to fit. You may want to try other straps
