Too bad am in an "all auto" period, else this is a very pretty chronograph, with a dial that's not too busy for once. And it's Seiko, my favorite brand! I'll buy it next time!

ZcityUpI think he says he prefers mechanical watches as opposed to quartz ones and I agree.

ZcityUpI fully agree with that one. But as Zcity said, I'm in an all mechanical mood. And the reason I'm not buying things impulsively is to gradually tick my long "to buy urgently" list: a Mojo Chord DAC, a Laney Cub10 guitar amp, and a Fuji xf 50 2.0 lens, to name only those. Once those in the bag, I'll go back to buying watches, starting with a Glycine or a Hamilton, as I already have 2 Seiko automatics (Alpinist and Blumo). Only then, back to Seikos, give it a litte bit of time! :p

OkanaganguyNo, not at all. I initially thought it would be as my previous (and now other) day to day watch was a much larger Sumo, so when I opened the box I was really worried. But I find the size to be excellent to wear with shirts at work, and still wearable with a t-shirt, even though I prefer my larger Sumo for that use. I also appreciate the smaller size given the fact that, in my opinion, the gorgeous green dial and golden hands may become too "flashy" on a larger dial. With 38mm, they can be discreet when need be, which I love. Same way I love my Alpinist, in terms of beauty and attention to details, this dial us pure art!

AleskbP.S: this being said my wrist isn't too large. Not sure how large exactly, but the Sumo is my top limit in terms of wearability, larger would be too big.
