MSRP is $499, here it listed for $400, plus you get $40 worth of store credit (Put it towards a DAC IMO)

HIFI778Never ceases to amaze me that people come on these comment sections pretending like this is The Dollar Tree or some bargain bin whole seller. No, drop.com will raise the prices until they reach a market equilibrium. Basic economics. And yet this place is full of penny pinching elitists who have the opinions of billionaires but the actual wallets of scavengers.

bsmartt13I don't think it is wrong for someone to look for a better price than the open market on this site, especially when the price was $100 less in the past. Drop's original premise was to be part of a lower price "group buy" or..drop. What i've seen change over the last year + is a shift from this into more standard pricing with 'drop rewards.' People can vote with their wallets. My preference was the previous model, as it gave a good alternative to other retailers who would get the item to me sooner, or the used market.

bsmartt13Dollar Tree? That is a bit of hyperbole, since everything in a Dollar Tree store costs $1.00. Not just some things, or most things, but every single item. However, after many years and due to recent inflation, they have raised prices so that now everything in the store is exactly $1.25.

Yes, all third party HD 6XX series pads are cross compatible. Dekoni has the most options, and just released some “standard” velour pads that supposedly sound the same as stock except they use memory foam, and you can tweak the sound with their elite sheepskin, pleather, and synthetic suede & leather.

Anyone want to clue me in on the sound stage and way these would sound as far as studio reference? im useing them mainly gaming and play tarkov... (useing DT990 pros currently with a 600ohm impedence with smsl dac and amp set up) thanks ahead of time guys :)
