I thought the point of DROP was to save money...not spend more? i can get these on amazon or other sites cheaper... HECK i can get these on Crutchfield with their AMAZING support for cheaper.
manahotep72Amazon requires any company that lists products on Amazon to never list that same item for a lower price on a different site. So Drop prices for headphones also on Amazon will never be lower than Amazon prices. The only benefit Drop has is the Drop points give you some rewards back towards your next purchase.
Yes, Drop is charging $1800 (a bit higher than most other retailers) and is postponing shipment until August as part of a group buy. The reason to buy the 800 S here may have gone unnoticed by many passersby:
The purchase now includes $900 in Drop store credit.
mattrisLOL oh yeah makes sense, I was a bit confused......... I think he replied to wrong person.
But I'm also pro keeping everything for records. Down the road then people can trace back and like ah ok so they had this deal in the past.
Generally I'm not fan of just deleting thing, we could however make an edit to write extra note on it though.

What GAMING Headphones do AUDIOPHILES Use?
The answer (from a few creators): for "high-end" - HD 800S (for "low-end" - PC38X).
(Wish I have a disposable income for this...)
That does sound confusing. I can’t affect the shipping of a retailer, but it sounds like you’ve got a ticket with Drop’s customer support. It sounds like you are taking the correct steps. If you ordered the headphone at a certain price and didn’t cancel it yourself, Drop should finish completing their deal with you.
Mikael AnderssonI would buy them RIGHT NOW at $999 now..not kidding... i intend on buying them at their normal price from somewhere in a few months at $1599..but not at $1799 ROFLMAO.
Just a reminder, Sennheiser has a MAP agreement for all authorized dealers. Manufacturer Authorized Pricing means that a small local headphone dealer will have the same price as a big online store on new stock, to level the playing field.
For Drop, this means the prices of their non-exclusive products will rise and fall with the rest of the market. Because of this, standard Sennheiser products are covered by Sennheiser’s warranty. Drop honors MAP, but additionally decided to offer incentive in the form of rewards points to be used as store credit in future purchases.
So, you’re welcome to buy from wherever you want.
