CloacaPersonally, the one I like best is the 12-hour Botte Design Uno automatic with display back, but it's 890 euros.
44 mm, 8.8 mm thick
ETA 2824-2
Date window
Double dome sapphire crystal
Made in Germany from Swiss movement
But the design is a little too refined for daily casual use. I wish Glycine made a big-mother 12-hour Incusore, all black, gunmetal case, with a big black arrow hour hand on a black face, nothing else.
CloacaNo-Watch also has a series of counter-clockwise watches. This one uses a Miyota 2037. I wonder how they get it to run backwards? Reverse the battery polarity?! Wait, the Esslinger site says the movement is designed to run backwards. Why do they make this? How big can the market be?
mrgrandisNot bad, and there're other versions, including white, but they're all quartz, unfortunately. There are other interesting watches from this company also, but all quartz.
CloacaI am currently wearing one and I absolute love it. It's comfy, the dials and design makes it very easy to tell the time and give you the perspective of day and night.

I think the only mechanical watch from them was the discontinued vintage lens watch.
Wish they offer more watch using automatic movement
mrgrandisTheir lens watches are a bit more convincing as lenses than my OrientStar Retro Future Camera watches, which are supposed to evoke, while not actually looking like, 1950s German camera lenses from Leica, Zeiss, et al.

Edit: Ah, I see that they have a U.S. site that says it's out of stock:
