are the stainless option less likley to break?

johnny2by4the picks themselves are all stainless. The "non-stainless" have a rubberized handle that helps prevent the picks from hurting your hand. That being said, I tend to prefer no handles (and get the all stainless versions) because it helps me to feel the pins better.
Also, if you are using enough pressure that you feel like you're going to break them, you're using WAY too much pressure.
