It's not a bad deal for 4 ships. Just a long wait to save $4.
The bigger savings comes in if you are buying core sets, too. So it's a solid deal if a new player wanted to buy say ... 2x Core 2x B-Wing 1x Z95 1x TIE advanced.
Would allow some pretty nice games of 2x X-Wing, 2-BWing 1x Z95 vs Vader's Advanced TIE and 4x TIE fighters.
VooDooAddictNot really. The ships can be bought for $8.99 each easily. The base game can be bought for $25.99. I fail to see how this is a good deal. If anything this is normal price for some OLGS.
Syco54645For this sort of thing, Other than MD, I use MM and the big A... $8.99 easily? Care to share? I haven't seen these for less than $10 if not a sale. Plus, the core sets in this drop are $23. Haven't seen it that low anywhere other than local brick and mortar clearance. $89.02 shipped for 2x core and 4x ships. I'm not trying to be combative, genuinely curious as I only got into miniature gaming a few months back.
So, to me, seems ok. No amazing price cuts, or record setting drop. But as good or better then my other options to get a friend well into the game for under $100.
...Thought there's be more discussion over my terrible list suggestions.
VooDooAddictHere's a good site for comparing. Not sure where the best deals are. Just giving you the info. Most places have free shipping also once you hit $100/$125.

Coolstuffinc also coolstuffin.com has great prices. I'm assuming since they are probably the biggest retailer that the above site excludes them intentionally, which is sad.
VooDooAddictIf you do some Googlin' you can find them. I just bought a Y-wing, Tie Advanced, and another Tie Fighter for $32.27 shipped ($8.99 each). They came in 2 days. Yes, that's only 3 ships. I could have added another bringing my total to $41.26 shipped. Still less than this drop and I got them pretty much right away.
