TRUE FACT: In the Russian remake of the film "Interstellar", Matthew McConaughey's Russian double gives his young daughter "Murphski", a Sturmanskie Gagarin Limited-edition Automatic watch instead of the Hamilton Khaki Murph watch used in the American version of the film.

The switch up had disastrous unforeseen consequences: because the Sturmanskie Gagarin Limited-edition wasn't capable of sending Morris Code like the Hamilton was. Accordingly, Matthew McConaughey's Russian double wasn't able to communicate the secrets of the future back to young Murphski, who therefore wasn't able save the earth! In the last scene of the Russian version, the Earth bursts into flames and explodes, and our entire population perishes! While opinions on the subject differ, many Russians blame the Sturmanskie Gagarin Limited-edition (and to some degree, the depressing ending) for the film's ultimate failure at the Russian box-office. As a result, copies of the Russian film are extremely rare--as are instances of actual Russians wearing a Sturmanskie Gagarin Limited-edition Automatic watch!
