Just tried the brush out. Is it supposed to have a strong stench (temporarily or otherwise)? I actually had to hold my breath while applying, it's very strong and unpleasant.
efemanall new natural badger brushes will. I clean mine by soaking in extremely hot water and working soap into the brush and repeat until smell is gone. normally takes me 4 or 5 times to get it done. also when i say soak i men only for 5 min at the most. over soaking will crack some handles.
efemanI participated in this drop the first time we ran it a few months back. Same thing as you with the smell during first few uses. After a few uses, all smell was gone and it's been great since then. It looks like @Garlar4 has a better grasp of how to deal with it, so be sure to check out his post.
steveThanks steve. I do have a few badger brushes and I have to do this on all new ones. Like I said though make sure to not over soak them. The stronger the soap/cream scent is the less times you have to do the process
efemanYes, that's normal for natural bristles. give it a couple days. Doesn't hurt to do a couple test-lathers and rinses. I'm tempted to jump in on this deal, but I'm plenty happy with my Omega.
