Bought completely on a whim not fully reading the description and not actually understanding what it's purpose was, and intending to use to hang things in my briefcase. Really surprised when they came in the mail and I thought the idea of hanging keys off my pocket was a silly idea.
Total and complete game changer. I LOVE these little guys. I HATE carrying keys and do my best to not carry keys at all, I'm not kidding more often than not I'll leave them in the car, I don't care who takes it. Anyway, since using these the times I do carry a keyset is about a hundred times more pleasant my day just... flows. Never have to dig in my pocket, just grab and bam they are in my hands.
A bit spendy for what they are, however not my first TEC Accessories purchase and like all TEC products, the build quality is top notch across the board. Happy to spend my dollars to a US based innovator that cares about making kick ass products with a level of manufacturing care rarely seen these days. Kudos.
One thing to beware, like all clippy pocket things such as lights and flashlights that go in your pocket, be aware of what you rub up against. Walked out of a grocery store and in a moment of panic could not find my keys. The plastic grocery bag had rubbed against my side, the thin plastic handle caught the clip perfectly and pulled them right out of my pocket. They were dangling from the bag as I walked across the parking lot!! Pocket check, pocket check, pocket check! Not a product defect in any way just thought I'd tell my cool story.
This has been on my keys for almost 2 years now, no real signs of wear on the black coating. Easy access to my keys in my pocket and keeps them high in the pocket, so they aren't bulging out. I wouldn't recommend if you have a ton of keys, but I use it with a fob, 2 keys, a Ti bottle opener and a key knife and it works great. I did pull the c clip off and connected it directly to my key chain to remove the added bulk.
Chenson722Thanks! My wife drove a FiST until a few months ago. Decided we needed something bigger, with 3 large dogs and a baby. Even with the RS, I miss it sometimes, it was a fun car to throw around.
I forgot I had one of these, It's such an important part of my keychain i honestly forgot how much of a hassle digging for my keys was before I had this. I should say, I tied a "monkeys fist" lanyard to the end of it so I can easily grab my keys out of my pocket. It just hangs in my pocket, doesn't bunch up, or have keys stab me in the leg. So so useful. Good for flashlights without a clip, or anything you wanna attach to the inside of a pocket or a purse.
Stop me if you've heard this one before:
MD's product photographs don't quite tell the full story! These things are very small, maybe 3X smaller than the size I'd hoped they were. I did eventually find a use for them, but I'd have found several more uses for them if they were as big as I initially imagined them to be.
That was my mistake, but it won't be yours now that I've posted this photo--tell 'em Ben ;- )

And by the way, you have to assemble them too! That's right, you get a bag with three individual pieces--you get to struggle with that dinky little ring as you attempt to connect it to the two clips.
I know you're really going to enjoy that part!
The box comes with everything disassembled so putting it together is quite a challenge abs then it’s so tiny that either it pulls my pocket in on itself or doesn’t hold the keys low enough to be functional. It seems to come already put together the pocket clip needs to be elongated by at least an inch and the opening for the key attachment needs to be able to open wider.
nifty, but the clips are really not sturdy enough.
I used these in my jeans, clipping them to the coin pocket, and letting the keys dangle in my pocket. So far, so good. but with just sitting and standing, the clip just got bent, so it now could easily come out of the pocket, which defeats the purpose. So no, I would not recommend this product. nifty in concept, but not practical in reality.
