Futher: it seems like with the default switch settings 'FN+Enter' gets me into "arrow" mode where l-win, fn, l-ctl, and l-shift start functioning as arrow keys and an LED under the l-shift turns on.
Anyone know how to get out of this mode?
HookI mistakenly engaged this moments after reading your post, and I'm running into the same issue with turning it off. I've also been wondering if there is a manual for all of the DIP switch settings, and what they happen to control - I'd like to know what I'm doing when I fiddle around with them instead of going by trial and error.
Edit: Found a manual for this model on TEX's Facebook page. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B7TuRf3KQe7GdjJwNXMwdHZIUm8/edit. It looks like hitting that same key combo should disable the arrow key functionality, but that doesn't seem to be working in my case.
Edit #2: I found a solution - switching the first dip switch to the on position configures CapsLock to act as a FN key. Since the original FN key is overridden by the arrow key functionality, using the remapped capslock+enter allows you to turn off that mode. (I've left my keyboard set up this way since CapsLock is a function that will never get used for me.)
TheTechStewartUnfortunately, I use CAPS_LOCK as ESCAPE (rebound at the OS level), so that isn't a viable approach for me. "Arrow" mode would be useful if I didn't get stuck in it.
Still can't figure out how to get middle click to actually emit a middle click in windows either :(
HookIt looks like it could be some sort of ground-plane/power issue with the keyboard (or at least in my case). If you hold down the left or right click, and then click the middle button, it will register as a middle click.
HookI'm honestly still playing with middle click functions - I use that to paste in Linux, and it's somewhat annoying not having that functionality when I'm docked. Still, I'm finding the benefits of the keyboard are outweighing the small negatives.
