Sennheiser PC37X randomly goes bad after disconnecting the cable ?
Greetings, Yesterday I was using my headset like normal with my macbook, just listening to music and on a call with people like usual, and the headset was perfectly fine. The stock wire that came with the headset is extremely long and yesterday it annoyed me very much that it kept getting tangled with itself, so I decided to see if the cable is replaceable. I pulled out the cable from the headset and saw the adapter, and looked online for a replacement. Upon plugging it back in, the audio sounded extremely muffled and washed out. Im not sure what I did wrong to make it mess up like that as I've always taken good care of it, ive had it for about 2 years and its always just been chilling on my desk, but anywho I thought the cable just went bad and ordered a replacement. I own the Series 2 and the Shure SE215 (clear ones). Compared to the SE215, the Series 2 have a brighter sound, and more prominent bass. I would say that the separation on the Series 2 is tad cleaner than SE215. The bass on the SE215 is cleaner though (like a quick, punchy bass). I have to say for $35, the TFZ 2's are quite a steal. I find myself listening to them more than my SE215. I will say, though, that isolation on the SE 215 is amazing (with foam tips), and i find myself struggling to find good isolation at times on the Series 2 with the stock tips.
Currently, I'm actually waiting for my shipment of the the Exclusive 5's (which I am very exited for), and may join this drop for the My Love II's.
