AsegierWe have dropped the aluminum version in the past. The community asked for the Carbon Fiber and Titanium versions as well, so we wanted to offer various options to the community. Cheers!

Njaatocould you please explain? is it your personal experience of getting the cards greyed out? Aluminium gives a nice metallic feel when compared to plasticy polycarbonate, but not sure of it getting bulky. Does this too come from your personal experience? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Edit: Just read a couple of reviews on this whole idea of Ridge wallets; my learning : 1.Each of the Aluminium plates is about 4 cards thick, so @Njaato's observation of Aluminium Ridge wallets becoming bulky/thick sounds true if it is filled with cards/cash to the brim (I prefer to keep cash between the plates, to avoid getting them abused by constant rubbing against the clothes) If I am inclined to buy these wallets, I would prefer this drop of polycarbonate plates rather than the metallic Aluminium solely for this point(I cannot afford Ti or Carbon Fibre versions:)
2.The elastic band binding the plates does not last long, some users report months of use with one pair; I do not want to keep purchasing the bands for life to truly enjoy a minimalistic life.
3.This observation may not apply for this second version; obviously the first version appears to have had sharp and unpolished edges/interiors which in turn stripped the plastic cards' surface.

KartI'll do my best! The interior plates of all our wallets are polished aluminum, it is the outer plates material that changes.
2) The elastic will not wear out quickly! I've been using a few various Ridge's over the last 2 years, and haven't had to replace the elastic on any of them, the outer plates act as a sort of sheath. We also have a 1 year replacement warranty on the elastic if it should wear out or get damaged for any reason.
3) the interiors are all polished on these versions and we haven't really had any issues with damaged or stripped cards in the wallet.
Let me know if you have any other questions!
