Finally got mine...
I totally cannot put a toothpick into it, and laser disfunctioned!

KaipoI call BS, and the problem is probably in the user. Isn't there a hole to put the toothpick into?

jeffgauthThere is a hole to push the toothpick into, but to work properly the point has to be removed from one end, and the metal coil positioned in the centre of the ‘string’ where it pushes against the flat end of the toothpick.
I found this out by trial and error.
