I’m happy with the crossbow, although, as others have pointed out, the non-intuitive assembly, and lack of a simple sheet of instruction is annoying; I managed to put it together and it works, although the trigger sticks sometime.
Much more annoying, though, is the rubbish laser that had a flat battery, with no obvious means of replacing the battery! Just how stupid is that?
Also, and even more annoying, is that I received a parcel today, which my girlfriend had to go to the Post Office to collect and pay £14.12 Custom charge for, and it’s another crossbow, that I never ordered!
If I’d gone to get it, and seen what it was, I’d have refused it and had it returned, saving me nearly £15.
I will be returning it, and I’ll expect a refund of my outstanding costs, the customs fee and return postage costs, plus I would like a refund of the extra cost of the rubbish laser as well.
For those having problems with getting toothpicks to fire, you need the metal coil needs to be over the trigger catch, and cutting the end off the toothpick with nail clippers gives a flat end for the bow-string to push against
