Questions:
_ A backlighted keyboard with opaque keys? What's the point? To make it harder to see the legends?
_ What kind of printing is the "pink/blue top printed"? Any way to guess how durable it is?
_ Why are there no photos of ANY of the other printing options?
_ A white case costs more than a black one? (Really, white plastic costs more than black plastic?)
_ When you click the lower photos, presumably to zoom in on them, why do _smaller_ versions appear? (Am I using the wrong side of the lens? <g> )
Joey_WilkToo right this keyboard is only for those that have space.
Also this is the their first 104 series released hence it's quite unique. The 87 key versions are mundane and always available here ; )
No cherry clears or zealios, and no pictures of the customizable options. The former is a deal breaker but the latter is just lazy.
I do like the looks, especifically the minimalist case. But without the king and queen of switches I sadly won't join.
usernamedThe funny thing is this and the Realforce keyboards come with really decent quality key-caps that should never be removed.
That is why I don't mind buying Varmilo keyboards due to their bundled key-caps which I still use when they arrive. Pity most other manufacturers bundle cheapo ABS rubbish to use with their keyboards. Those are the ones that automatically get replaced with SP, GMK or BSP immediately.
ElrickI found the profile of the Varmilo keycaps a bit too flat where it affected my tying accuracy. I definitely like the quality though, a few steps above my Filco and Ducky. I just put DSA HC Granite on my Varmilo and they won't be coming off for a long time.
The sticker doesn't bother me at all because it's removable.
What you need to concentrate on is the actual hardware which isn't bad. First full sized keyboard from them plus being in white colour, which is the one just bought with all dye subbed key-set.
Looking forward to this, another winner from Varmilo. Waiting for their full sized Aluminium version which will be highly prized.
You hear that Varmilo and MassDrop, get the full sized all Aluminium Cased Keyboard version available with Cherry Clears and I think it'll be the most popular keyboard ever sold here.
Looking at the pictures you might be correct about not etched in, but as long as no one has prooven by his own real experience that it can be removed and made unseen that there even had been a sticker at all i still dare to complain about the decision to go this way in branding.
MakamiI've seen far worse Logos affixed upon many Yum-Cha Keyboards and this one isn't in that category.
It's still far better than the "Comic Sans" atrocity which was screened onto the actual casing and that was truly awful.
This one is within the Tramp Stamp area and I love them for it. To me it's a keeper ; )
