I was a part of the Kickstarter campaign and have it and don't recommend it. To get to the point the glue holding each stone to it's carrier is uneven and sloppy making it impossible to retain the exact angle and edge from stone to stone. It's a great idea but doesn't work in the end. To be frank, I'm able to get a significantly finer edge using a knockoff edge pro model from Amazon. If you want a great sharpening system and don't want to have to keep replacing it for another like I have, save up and get the KME and be done with it. You'll be able to produce a mirror polished perfect edge and be totally happy.
In general I've tried a lot of systems from the work sharp to this viper sharp and in the end the KME is the best hands down.
PS I'll gladly sell my viper sharp to any of you haha

I recommend watching some YouTube videos first. It's capable of some incredible mirror polish edges but when you include the extras for it it gets expensive. $200-$300

1stmeridianThanks Mike, I'll definitely contact you. The system has incredible potential as long the stones and carriers can be kept at the same thickness. As you make more stones and options available it will turn into a solid option. I'll add more to the discussion about your quality customer service.
