Hah, knew it was too much of a coincidence that the holes in the Westone 3 chassis were exactly the right size for a female MMCX connector. I modded my Westone 3's to add an MMCX connector to it. Seems like they were maybe planning to have a removable cable on the 3s but chose not to, or they just simplified production by having a single chassis shape for all their IEMs.

boabyIt wasn't in the cards with the W3 was made but Westone got luckly when picking these shells back up that there was room to update the tooling to fit the MMCX. Nice handy work on your 3's though!

If you're US based, BTG-Audio (http://www.btg-audio.com/) does this for a fairly good price (though it's the 2 pin connector).
