Some more good bang for your buck from Drop. The Gateron yellows provide a nice balance between a responsive press and a less-loud click. If the refurbished keebs aren't for you, this is a solid upgrade. Frosted panel is a major plus!
Got this for my kid with a KB club discount. They wanted something with colors and something we can change the keycaps on. This fit the bill for that. Easy enough for a kid to pick up on how to change colors and such. Fun experience for them.
Wasn’t expecting much for such a cheap keyboard, and only bought it because my drop alt wasn’t connecting to my Dreamcast properly (wanted to play Typing of the Dead with a mechanical keyboard as a pet project). One thing that really irritated me that I don’t see mentioned her is the fact it uses a 2.00 shift keycap. VERY uncommon, and the keycaps it comes with are pretty crummy too so my build is using a 1.75 shift, leaving some gaps
Okay, but better values out there. Sockets not great.
It's not a bad keyboard for the price, but you can get better ones. It does look nice and seems very solid. One issue is that some of the switch sockets are very tight, whereas others are pretty loose.
This keyboard has every feature I could want in an entry level board. Hot swappable, lots of lights, but also looks good unlit. I like having a keypad, which this board does not have, but that is easily remedied by a macropad of some sort.
