No gain, no volume control and what looks to be an LED lit tube... this is just an input switcher, not a line stage pre-amp. If the tube is in the signal path it isn't doing much.

ElectronicVicesHow do you know the tube is not doing much. Description says it improves the sound.

alkcWow you really are gullible
ElectronicVicesIt’s a tube buffer. If you had a tube preamp with volume control and adjusted the volume to unity gain, would you say that the tube isn’t doing anything? Go look at the measurements of any tube head amp in low gain mode and you’ll see that it’s definitely adding harmonic distortion. I expect the same is true here.
everythingeverythingFWIW it's not exactly unity gain. With a new production JJ tube replacing the bad-out-of-the-box one included with the device, I'm measuring about 0.8dB of gain.

everythingeverythingHello sir, can you please help me? if 2 input goes to cd and turntable, and 1 outout to speaker, how to add headphone amp?
ivan.ferdinandYou should be able to use RCA splitters on the output of the MT-603 to connect both devices. Just make sure the cables between these devices aren’t excessively long.
