TigoleNaa, was probably FedEx and they didn't even bother getting out of the truck to leave a, "Sorry we Missed You," notice without ever ringing the doorbell.

gnoopOr DHL.
I've had DHL manage to deliver an expensive product that required a signature and a confirmed time of delivery to the wrong house, at the wrong time, and without a signature. Fortunately my neighbors aren't rude and dropped it off at my house.

whomad1215Wow. My best so far was FedEx delivering a signature required, insured package to my house while I was home with 0 notice at all. My wife came home for lunch and told me I had a package at the door. Yours is even more impressive/scary.

whomad1215DHL managed to ship my package from Virginia through PA past my house and then back into PA. Hearing your story, I'm not quite sure how they even function at this point.

roostaDHL has a history of leaving things like computer monitors and 50" TVs at my door, in the product's box, in full view. If I have a choice, I never choose DHL.

gnoopSame thing happened to me with a UPS package. My $1500 chair was supposed to require a signature, but I had a release on file that said leave it at the front door. I was home. They left it in front of my garage. No notice on the front door. No door bell ring. No package updates. If they had even approached the front door, my Ring door bell would have notified me. But no, my $1500 chair was left sitting on my driveway for hours before someone came home and told me there was something outside.

TigoleSounds very similar. Mine was a $6000 instrument and nothing on file with FedEx. Just a no knock drop and run. Rather sad. At least it was shipped insured.
