I see that you've mentioned "strong shine resistance" in Overview introduction. Given that DCX is ABS which is notoriously known to develop strong shine vs PBT, I'm wondering how this shine resistance is actually added and how it's been tested to verify that it actually is a significant improvement compared to GMK.

bobaloverShine is based on many factors and not all ABS plastics are the same because you can change the proportions of compounds to get different desirable properties. There is "good" ABS resins that shine less, and "bad" ABS resins that shine more. DCX is using the same resin that we use in MT3 ABS. If you read the thousands of reviews on MT3 Doubleshot ABS, there is hardly any mention at all of "this shines too quickly" etc. Whether this shines faster or slower than a GMK keycap is based on many factors, your individual body chemistry being an obviously unique one of them (oils, temperature, typing style, etc). We know these shine slowly, it's up for individuals to quantify and test whether that is an improvement or not against their other keycaps.

KevinKnowing that it's the same resin as MT3 ABS is a good thing to know as that's a readily available known quantity/quality. Cheers for the quick answer!
