Makami you are right, but i would love to see a german Topre (clone) board. There are a few clones out there but only in the ANSI format.

Tldr: keyboards=no; keycapsets as an optional part of bigger drops=yes.
Being German myself, i've to say no. We've very good deals for Coolermaster every other week at ZackZack/Notebooksbilliger, good deals for Corsair and other brands many times at Amazon or Mediamarkt/Saturn. Massdrop can't compete with those and Europeans and even more Germans are just a small part of this community and customers (But we're growing :))
Custom keyboards with ISO (DE) support are given very often, the main problem, not in the hands of Massdrop, are ISO keycaps(sets). You can get a fitting keyboard, but have to take care of keycaps for yourself. International addon kits, including German, make it every other day if its Signature Plastics (PMK), because M(inimum)O(rder)Q(uantity) is low(er), GMK used to fail, if Massdrop doesn't step in to make it happen. Tai Hao as example in ISO-DE exists, but if MD would start trying to offer these it would be logical and reasonable that every other country not being ANSI would want to be considered too. If i'm correct Tai Hao has an MOQ of 25, might be wrong. But i've high hopes the situation will become better in the coming years because mk (stuff) is getting more popular day by day.
Lieben Gruß

Old thread, I know. But I wanted to say that I care much about aesthetics and almost all german layout mechanical keyboards are ugly as hell. Right now I own a Ducky Shine 7 as it is the best I could find. But I would still prefer a Drop CTRL with german layout.

DampfnudelAlso sorry for exhuming this old thread: an alternative to a full fledged German layout would be keycaps for US-international, which is actually a somewhat useful layout for German. The Umlauts and Eszett have a sub-1% frequency in text, so using AltGr isn't too cumbersome (as opposed to other languages like e.g. French, where e.g. é makes up over 2%). But the german letters are located somewhat illogical (because the corresponding vowels are already occupied by the accented versions), so having appropriate keycaps would be very nice for transitioning. Throw in a "Compose" key, and you've got everything covered. https://dry.sailingissues.com/us-international-keyboard-layout.html
