Yup. Due to both the flippant attitude towards previous customers, the inane and rather foolish decision to make a name change, and the distinctly terrible site design, I'm very close to being done as a customer.

xen0bladeShort version: I've had an issue with my Drop x Mito Laser Alt Keyboard, with massive key chatter that I've been unable to resolve, even by replacing switches. Drop sent me the following response: ""This is Brett with Drop Community Support. I am sorry to hear about the issue with your keyboard and would be glad to offer some information. For products that do not have an included manufacturer's warranty, customers have 30 days from the date of delivery to report an issue. For products that include a manufacturer's warranty, customers must report an issue within the stated warranty period. After reviewing your transaction, it appears that the 1 year time-frame for reporting an issue has passed, which means we are not able to provide a replacement or facilitate a return. Thank you for your understanding of this policy. If we can help you with anything else in the future, please contact us then. Best Regards, Brett "" So, let me get this straight: Drop cares so little about their customers, that when a customer is having an issue, they don't even bother trying to: troubleshoot, offer paid repair services, or anything else. I would have been perfectly happy for a response from Drop to even be in the form of: here's a customer with a similar problem on our community page and here's how the customer fixed it themselves. Instead, the only response I received was: it's out of the 1 year warranty, so it's not our problem. They care zero about a customers actual experience or product. I've personally spent thousands of dollars on this site over the years, and steered others toward drop due to the good experience I've had. That experience is, essentially, a lie. I will no longer be purchasing, utilizing, or otherwise recommending Drop in any capacity. I've heard for years that the Drop/Massdrop customer service experience was awful, and I always dismissed these claims as disgruntled individuals. I see now that I was wrong to do so, and am embarrassed and saddened that I had any faith whatsoever in a sham company. Good day.
