Hopefully when the Shift is released, the Massdrop configurator's LIGHTING OPTIONS (MORE ANIMATIONS/EFFECTS) and QMK FEATURES LIKE TAP DANCING can be included.
As it stands, a $250 board with at best, basic level QMK stuffs and lighting modes accessible to noobs like me who has zero coding experience, might as well I purchase a random redragon or Ducky One 2 SF or a Razer. At this point, using the QMK configurator from QMK site no per key LED /Effects customise, forcing me to use MD's BAREBONES configurator.
Is it a curse I'm a keyboard enthusiast but doesn't know how to code in C for QMK? Powerful as it sounds, feature reach as it sounds, if 80% of the features are locked away in coding that the average layman like me can't understand/don't have time to learn but would like a powerful keyboard that's inhibited by a firmware configurator that offers the barest of basics?
