I love small operations making great things.
My only counter is I've met some fantastic makers in other countries who run small shops and I've also held in my hands some really questionable objects that were made in America. My own thoughts are that Massdrop is lucky enough to have a lot of people on the team who are most interested in the kind of quality and responsibility that can only come from real passionate designers/creators. So they may not be made in the USA, but as my friend would say, they're made with love. And I think that's something that goes beyond country of origin.
That said, maybe a little sorting option you could click that would highlight or list only the things made locally would be kind of neat. So you could see the stuff made near you based on your location.

AlexPkI agree. But, my suggestion is to create one community with products sourced from American manufacturers. I also buy products made oversees, but if I can find an item made locally for a similar price at the same or better quality I will always choose that option. I also like your suggestion to have the sorting option. I do like to know where my product comes from and where my dollar goes.

AlexPkI agree. Instead of focusing on just the USA, a country of origin tag would be better and would benefit all users on Massdrop.
