I recently purchased a pair of HD600's and quickly found out that my Nuforce Udac3 was not powerful enough to handle them. What is the cheapest option to get them properly powered? Should I buy a whole new dac/amp or can I just get an Amp and pair it with my Nuforce or even the built in dac on my computer motherboard (Asus ROG Strix Z370-F ). I am new to this so am fairly ignorant as to what I need. I appreciate all recommendations.

Just get a budget amp like the Schiit Magni 3 and see if it solves your problems. If your efforts turn out futile, you are always welcome to post again over here XD

I suggest the Nuforce 1st. Although I heard it could be better, motherboard soundcards are usually- how should I put it- best to be avoided, unless it is a special or custom one
Thanks, I think i will go this route and maybe even swap out the Nuforce at some point with a Modi 2.
Quick answer as I have to fix a deck; return the Nuforce or it becomes a travel DAC/amp; was just looking at the T1 for another; cheap right now if this is your price range - unless you have more $ (then the world is your oyster) ; the silver Aune T1SE version - buy it today; no regrets: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01ALDNS1S/ref=s9_acsd_hps_bw_c_x_6_w?th=1

Damn, tried a few things, including VPN from CA to see your view... do they have you boxed in...
What was MD shipped price to CA anyone? Wait? Or these options:
This is the last MKII version, no DSD but that is DoP anyway in the SE, no big loss, or jump up to the SE version, they may have upgraded the caps. Standard shipping from China is the best bet I think, just wait a bit... I am in Canada. I bought a Bravo Ocean a couple months ago. Works great. Has no problem powering my HD6XX at 9-10:00
