I have the photo with the stock velour earpads and another photo with the Dekoni Jerzee Earpadz that I added myself.

@SkykingUSA Hello, I just bought the PC38X. The stock ear pads are too shallow. My ears stick out a lot, so my ears touch the drivers and hurt my ears after 5 minutes. Are the Dakoni ear pads you mentioned have more depth? If they don't have much depth, I might have to return the headphones because I can't really find any thick ear pads to buy.

TooSpicyBroThe Dekoni Jerzee pads definitely have more depth than the stock pads. Whether they have enough for you can only be known by you after trying them. All I can say for certain is that they definitely push the drivers further away from your head. Hopefully you can find the pads at a store that accepts returns if it doesn't work for you. The Amazon link in this thread still works for me - perhaps give that a try? Good luck!

Here are the links of the four I tried out (in order of price, lowest to highest) and my findings after trying each of them for an evening or two of gaming. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B082FNZV6N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These look cheap, feel cheap and are cheap! What a combo. However, they did the trick for me by keeping my ears away from the cups enough so that they did not touch. So, despite the cheap feel and sort of shoddy look (the foam looks like it doesn't fit right into the pleather), they did what I wanted. They just don't feel premium at all. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B07T9TCKHV/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 I liked the feel of the material on these, but the padding was too weak to keep the cups away from my ears enough. Also, the inside hole was a little smaller than the others so my ears were more likely to brush against the inside of the pads. I did not like them for this headset. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B087HPDQ5L/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1 These ended up being the winner for me. The material feels great, they are large enough that I don't feel the pads against my ears, and the padding is firm enough that it keeps my ears away from the cups on the headphone. The material feels really nice - like a smooth breathable sports fabric. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B081725V28/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 The material on these felt the nicest - very soft leather-like material and they really molded to my head well. The only reason I didn't select these is because they were a little too warm for me. I suppose the leather-like material simply isn't as breathable as the fabric or velour. Other than the warmth, it was very premium feeling. Those are my thoughts, hopefully this will help some others if they are looking for a different earpad.

If anyone else is like me and find the earpads too thin on the headset, I will try to post my findings after I've tried alternatives. I bought the following four sets of earpads and will try them all before deciding which ones to keep and use long term. Both stock pads are just too thin for me and cause my ears to touch the cans inside and start to hurt. Here are the links of the four I am trying out (in order of price, lowest to highest). https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B082FNZV6N/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s02?ie=UTF8&psc=1
