Any chance you can replace the SE TRS cable with a 4.4mm balanced cable?

100% chance, if you get your own 4.4mm balanced cable. 0% chance if you don't.
I like 4.4mm because it makes good contact (better than XLR-4, actually), it’s easy to use, and a good size. Now that I have a 4.4mm to XLR-4 adapter and a 4.4mm to 3.5mm adapter, I don’t need any more cables to connect to any amp :) … doesn’t mean I’m not curious, lol. And I wouldn’t pick on someone wanting to try out a cable costing a bit more, as long as they buy from a company with a return policy. I feel like that’s a pretty honest way to do business, as long as the customer doesn’t damage the cable in any way. As an audiophile, I try to be skeptical and open minded, if that’s not too much of a contradiction 😅

By the way, I got what you were saying in your original answer, and I thought it was pretty funny 😁 Honestly, I prefer it this way. Like I said, most people have a way to use a 1/4” (6.35mm) single ended cable in an AVR or purpose built amp, and some amps have really, really good 6.35mm ports. So, most people will be good to go out of the box, and usually they’ll try to use it with SOMETHING specialized for audio, rather than just straight out of a computer or laptop. But if people have special needs, like a cable of this length with that kind of connector (with this weight or even that color), we each get to make our own choice.
