How are these compared to like Tangies or Durock POM linears? Do these have a nice Thock and are good out of the box, or do they need filming /lubing /spring swap?
Or I guess is there a fairly common switch you can compare it to as far as how it feels, sounds, performs? Thanks
PhlookeHonestly I'm more of a tactile guy and I haven't tried Tangerines but I think they're smoother than Durock POM linears so they are incredibly smooth stock, there's pretty much no stem wobble so i wouldn't recommend filming and other people are having qc issues with the stems getting stuck because of how tightly fitting they are. They're also somewhat thocky but not as much as gat black inks and there's probably a lot of potential here for tuning if you want to go the trouble of cleaning/relubing them. But I personally picked these up for the low investment cost so I'm not sure how exactly high the ceiling is on these. Hope that helps.
SurfGalaxyThank you! That's exactly what I needed to hear. And as far as people getting their stems stuck on the up stroke because of their tight fittings, was this specific to just ones purchased from Drop or all v3 Aqua Kings? (Still debating to get these on drop and wait a month or two or just grab them from a site in stock lol)
