Some technical leaps happen without all the fanfare, though this one sings it’s own. Tube Audio Leaps Ahead of Solid State Using Graphene! Congratulations to Charles Whitener and all of the Western Electric team who are working diligently to bring the sound back,, to life, for us. https://www.westernelectric.com/blog/application-note-11202020 The synergies between old and new technologies, can simply amaze. This enigmatic siren song 300B tube, now incorporates one of the most advanced thin film technologies we have today, Graphene. WE is utilizing ALD to deposit Graphene, a technology of the future being used to produce quantum computers, Atomic Layer Deposition.

I've been reading about the solid state 'tubes'. I can't wait to hear an amp based on these. Graphene is truly an amazing compound. BTW, did you know that graphene oxide is present in the covid 'vaccines'? Maybe they wanted our bloodstreams to sound better ;-)
