Do be aware that despite the published standards, 18650 batteries are not all created equal. I've seen a lot of times where a battery labeled 18650 differs just enough in its form factor to be unusable in certain applications, even though the dimensions are standardized. Not to mention, there are both Lithium and Nickel Metal Hydride 18650s out there, each of which are suitable for different use cases.
I'd recommend getting youyour 18650s off Alibaba m8. Massdrop doesn't have all the answers
