I reached out to SainSmart, and they are definitely down to work with us, but I won't be able to get more than a 10% discount, and even then that's only if I can get a few hundred orders in.
Let me know in this discussion thread if you want us to take the time to do this, since it's entirely up to the community if you want me to list this.
If it's in regards to the Sainsmart kit, I don't think you'll get a few hundred orders for just a 10% discount. As it is, the market for people self-sourcing parts to build a printer is small.
I did get the order quantity and price down much lower, so let's see what we can do with the listing that is now live. SainSmart is really excited to work with us, and this is their first group buy ever, so let's show them what can happen and we can list more SainSmart parts.
