Uhm, no. To all of these options, and this approach. Seriously.
What you really want is a pair of "cheap" (~$300 USD or so) Custom In Ear Monitors. The AAW A3H Pro that dropped recently is excellent for this, and I don't have to worry about them too much, like I do with my 5x the cost Kumitate Lab CIEMS.
I can not recommend CIEMs highly enough.
Cheers.
Does anyone thing the jaybirds will go on MD
You guys voting for the X2 do know that X3 and freedom are available, right? it's a newer model.
Researching, Reading and Reviewing the Jaybirds X2 on YouTube had me hype to get them!...I returned it within the next 3 days. Seriously people must have muffled ears talking about these have good "Bass"...Sure the Jaybirds X2 can go pretty loud, but the problem is all you hear is that loud piercing Treble! Jaybirds X2 failed in the Bass department!

The key is fit. I has the same problem for a while, until I can get the right fit. (Small, comply foam for me, pushed in deep, with wings pushing slightly forward, different for everyone) When it fits perfectly, the bass comes to life and the piercing treble is gone. Also, I find that using comply foam with waxguard can further enhance that. (sold separately)
I've had the Jaybird X2's for quite some time now and the overall experience goes hand-in-hand with most reviews I've read before purchasing them. Quality in terms of both build and audio is great; the high (treble) isn't too loud where they start to sound overwhelming and the bass is solid. Battery is said to approximately last around 5-7 hours, which is pretty damn good if you're heading to the gym from work.
tl;dr: everyone deserves a good pair of wireless workout earphones/earbuds.
looking for one excellent exercising headphones the sonny smart B looks great, i wonder if it tells me the at every mile how many more miles to go like the ipod nano that i have. if only bose had something like this
Who exercises with Sennheiser Orpheus? 😂😂😂
Wondering if Massdroppers are interested in a higher grade exercise headphone. I know a lot of people who want better exercise headphones and there just isn't anything on the market that stands up to the likes of Shure SE425s.
Read a comparative review on the LIFE headphones here to get an idea:
