Title:Best Bang For Buck $80-$120 headphone
Not "pretty decent"
"The pads are fine. "
Not if you look at 90% of the other headphones listed
M40xs are much better as far as bang for the buck in comparison to m50xs
The m50 are not good lol. It blows my mind that people think they are amazing. Super uncomfortable, extremely cheap build, and the sound is average. The Phillips SHP9500 have one of the most solid builds I've ever seen, the sound is fantastic, and it's half the price lol
I find it funny that of all places Massdrop, the place where people would want to get the best deal possible, in a poll trying to see what is the best monitor for the money, and the M50x comes out on top lol
These headphones SRH440 w/ the SRH840 ear pads or the Brainwavz Replacement Memory Foam Earpads sound quite simply amazing. Their normal ear pads are okay, but with these upgraded, you can't go wrong.
I have the 440's with the stock pads and I'm interested in changing them to Brainwavz ones. How do the pads effect isolation, comfort, tone, soundstage, etc?
