First of all, best of 2016? most of these are not from 2016 so ill just vote for best game from the options provided.
How are there only 2 votes for Divinity Original Sin 2? That's insane. Not only is it the Best in the series, but its the best in the genre without a doubt and arguably the best game ever made in the genre. If you haven't played it yet do yourself a favor and pick it up now! its a game with endless options and replay-ability due to the infinite options and choices in a beautifully rendered open world full varied landscapes, colorful unique characters with personal backstories quirks. 10/10 Must play!
I'd love to vote for Nier but without any major bug updates on PC, can't vote for it. Instead, I nominated Cuphead on here since it just released and most everyone who's played it so far has enjoyed it. And while I don't feel PUBG should be on here since it's still early access (so technically not released), I used a second vote for it because it's been pretty dang fun to play and quite addictive for what's been made available of it so far.
Sorry about that. I assumed we were doing an end of year poll and not so much a year before poll.... Whoops.
My votes would be for Doom, Overwatch, or The Division. Doom brought back a dying genre in a fantastic and glory fashion; Overwatch demonstrated a multiplayer only game could be done well and well enough to be crack for many people; and The Division showed a broken game could be fixed with time to become something quite addictive and pretty enjoyable.
it's probably because the poll itself is one year old lmfao.
Multiplayer only games have been commonplace way before Overwatch. Just look Counter strike, all the "MOBA" games, Team fortress etc. They had massive followings way before Overwatch was even in development.
