Logitech g900 is in my opinion the best gaming mouse in wired mode
G502 is a joke. I don't get the votes.

The G502 is the top because it has the most buttons XD
It's too bad the G502 Proteus Core is the top vote when the G502 Proteus Spectrum is the same mouse at the same price with the added feature of RGB lighting.
i can vouch for the G502 Proteus Core Gaming Mouse - FPS Mouse - Logitech. i have owned it for about 3 months with absolutely no issues. Very strong (some raging slams to the desktop), very nice customization options with the software (http://support.logitech.com/en_us/product/g502-proteus-core-tunable-gaming-mouse) works great without a mouse pad. i travel a lot and use this with my laptop, so i have used it on many surfaces with no issues. you can also tune it for different surfaces, but i never have had to.
