I was already looking to buy the G29 or 920, the difference is the g29 vs g920: appeal, and the G29 has leds to indicate gear+ extra buttons... don't see why the G920 is voted for higher

I am not entirely sure on the next Logitech series, however I feel my next wheel purchase will not be from that company. One of my main complaints with the G27 was that the gears of the force feedback seemed to have some play in them, and when I would hit bumps or grass in the game the wheel would cause a very loud rattle. Also the G27 shifter would cause the lever to hit the plastic bezel around it creating a loud noise. I believe that the G29 uses the same internals as the G27, which in my opinion would be a bad move, although I can't confirm this. Also the software is massively outdated for the one that worked with the G27, and Logitech didn't add support for it in newer software. Other than those issues however, the G27 has done me perfectly with a few small modifications to the pedal springs and adding foam for padding to the shifter. I have looked at Thrustmaster wheels which appear to be better in build quality from videos I have seen, but they also come at a much steeper price so it comes down to personal choice of build quality versus price. Sorry for the long reply though, I thought might add my two cents on Logitech wheels.
