Patriot Viper 2666 1x16GB could be one option to go for. The RAM market has become very competitive and all the major players have shown some price drops. Exited to see which one will get most votes. More info at https://www.gamingpcrepair.com/
Agree with ShukLaham but Patriot's DDR4 SODIMM modules deliver extreme performance for notebooks and small form factor PC's without sacrificing reliability. Designed for the latest Linksys e1000 firmware is quite similar also.
Best RAM at the moment is any Samsung Chip that uses the B-die. Usually has a black PCB, single rank. G. Skill at the moment is killing it but it should be noted that it isn't inclusive to them. I have a CL18 4000MHZ 16GB Trident Z kit by them.
The drop should be for the 3200MHz version of the Trident RGB sticks. There is steep price jump from 3200 to 3600 compared to 3000 to 3200. I wouldn't pay an extra $60 for RGB on my RAM but if I could get them cheaper in a drop I'd be willing to purchase.
More RAM does not equal faster computer. Just because you have more RAM doesn't mean you have a faster computer just a computer that can do more jobs at apparently faster speed. In reality, the computer will still run as fast as its processor will allow it, adding more RAM won't help that
