in comparison cheap alternative to ergodox split keyboards etc. entirely programmable maybe not as much as the more expensive american counterparts but for my wants enough. you can opt for cherry mx or gateron switches.
One minor issue though. there is no way to program the keyboards hardware to use Right_ctrl, alt, shift and windows keys. they all default back to the left variant. They use those bits for other functionality. I have to try to use autohotkey to emulate the right variants but havent tested this yet.
All smartyao keyboards have this shortcoming.
I would really like for Massdrop to get on the LY092-SN.
I really want a few of these, but I just cannot navigate myself around the chinese websites to select what it is that I want.
My plan is a 60% in the middle with a mouse on the right and LY092-SN on the left as a gamepad/left-handed numpad. As someone who does a lot more excel work and gaming than regular text typing, this would finally make my dream setup come true!
