Hi. Where can we get a reply as to interest in snowshoes? Is there a generic interest request we can make? Same question for crampons and ice axes. Thanks.
Any chance we might see the msr lightning ascent drop before next spring?
I have a pair of the 30" MSR Lightning Ascent shoes. Took them out to RMNP and Blanca Peak in Colorado at the end of May this year. It was "mud season," but hiking up over 11k feet I still encountered 5'-6'+ of snow and these shoes worked great. Without the shoes I'd have sunk up to my waist. Absolutely love them.

I have the Lightning Ascent 25. Ironically, of all the seasons, I have the best traction in the winter because of them.

Thought I'd kick off the discussion - I've got the Revo Ascents and have been using them lightly for the last two seasons. Been really happy so far, and will be finally venturing into the mountains with them this season to really test them out.
Also, if anyone else has an idea of good backcountry shoes, let me know! or post them yourself, if that's a thing you can do?
