7.1 headphones are still physically wired in stereo. Positional audio works off of Volume, Distortion and Delay... You CANT get that out of a 7.1 headset.
Don't need that many drivers in a can. ZReviews on YouTube my friends. Just look up gaming on his channel. You have two years, positional audio comes from the reverberation of sound off of objects to the opposite ear that the sound is coming from. so those extra drivers don't do anything.
