I disagree. I've had the InCase Compact bag for 4 years now, and its the best bag I've ever had. The size is perfect, it's extremely comfortable and the quality is extremely durable as I haven't exactly been carefull with it, and the nylon (?) has not broke anywhere.
This is silly. Many of these bags serve totally different functions and they should be broken into categories those categories. Backpacks, Duffels and Briefcases are all mixed together like hammers, screwdrivers and pliers. Someone like myself who needs a briefcase will never have the opportunity to buy one because most people who are probably the younger set, want backpacks.

I don't have much experience with the other bags, but the MEI Voyageur is fantastic! Its carry-on size and has good quality backpacking straps and hipbelt that can be tucked away when not in use. I've used it on backpack trips and week long trip to Italy - it was perfect.
