Thanks to Silverhead for starting this poll! We've contacted the vendor on your behalf and they've made the Beyerdynamic DT770 Pro Headphones available.
It's kind of a rarity to find high impedance, -closed- headphones. I'm looking for a set to take to work and use with an OTL tube amplifier. I noticed these have not been offered in the past and think people might be inclined to jump on the 250 ohm version of the DT770. I would. The issue is that there are a lot of open air headphones to use with OTL amps, but none of my coworkers want to hear what I'm listening to.
I wanted one to use with my DAC/Amp at work, so I could turn up the amp a bit more without blowing my eardrums. I have the 250 ohm version of DT990, but they are not appropriate for work environment, as they are opened back.
I bought DT770 and they're perfect for work. They cut out sounds from the outside world and nobody can hear what I'm listening to regardless of the volume. I have DT990 which sound nearly identical to me and they bleed sound badly due to the open backs.
