Gave up on waiting and just bought one.
At the time of purchase the Mx Brown switches with the black case were entirely sold out everywhere. I settled for a grey case instead before those sell out too!
The keyboard itself is absolutely fantastic, but this is my first mechanical keyboard so take my opinion with a grain of salt. The only thing that concerns me is the backspace key is a tad different feeling in comparison to all the other keys.
The keyboard itself is 108 keys which perfectly replaces my old Comfort Curve 5000 and it's functionality.
bah, couldn't wait any longer. just bought one with mx browns at retail price.
definitelly worth EVERY single penny i paid for.
these are the other keyboards i own:
Rosewill TKL mx red
Monoprice mx blue
cm storm trigger mx blue
logitech g710 mx red <-----garbage, not worth more than $40
Corsair K70 RGB mx brown
max nighthawk x-9 mx brown
the ducky shine 4 puts all of the above to shame. this is the only way i can describe this keyboard.
just buy it.
Well, ducky has worked with Massdrop before, so our chances seem a bit higher then most polls for K70 RGB... I have done another keyboard drop here: dro.ps/v/t7GM4aT where the shine 4 is sitting at 180 votes... Still wish the Shine 4 was PC programmable like the K70 RGB...
