rOtring 600 Mechanical Pencil

For something outside of our usual rOtring rotation, we just dropped the Pentel GraphGear 800 series here: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/pentel-graphgear-800-drafting-pencil?s=graph
Pentel has offered excellent drafting pencils for decades, and the GraphGear 800 is a great example of a quality mid-range writing tool with its sturdy metal grip, and a lightweight plastic barrel ideal for long term writing sessions.
Yo the Graphgear 1000 is a FANTASTIC PENCIL and is much cheaper than the Rotring 600. If you ever offer another one of these I highly recommend it
Thanks for all the votes! The clear winner of the poll is the Rotring 600 Mechanical Pencil. Join in on the massdrop for these beautiful pencils: https://www.massdrop.com/buy/rotring-600
Can I vote for having .3 and .5 for roting one?
If the 2mm variant of the rotring 600 is included I'm so in.
I have rotring 600. dropped it a couple times and the tip was bent 2x. straightened it and still works very well
Are we ever going to get this massdrop? :)

@Ghost I thought you'd never ask : ) Our buying team has been hard at work sourcing the Rotring 600 Mechanical Pencils and we're pleased to report positive results. Rotring has not sold directly in the USA for many years but that is about to change. Stay tuned and you wont be disappointed.

Will we be able to choose the color and the size of the lead? I seem to have a particular likeness to the black 0.5mm since I already have the silver one!
The early choices get too much of a head start in this case. There are some cool featured ones like the Kuru but I doubt individuals will do the research themselves. We need more info and voters need to be informed of all the features of the candidates.

I'm not sure. The car groups are fine because they seem to have things organized before coming to Massdrop. People like me who aren't associated with a prebuy/niche community are here to browse what catches our eyes. I don't know how often these types of people come back to keep track of how polls are doing and if new candidates are added. Reworking the system would require some thought.

I have a kuru toga myself, and while it's always nice to have the sharp lead, I don't like the grip on it and the lead itself does get very sharp. So sharp you'll probably stab yourself a few times on accident if you keep it in your pants while sitting down. lol
Why would you want a 3$ pencil over a $0.10 one?
This may be a dumb question, but why would i want one of these $30 pencils over a regular $3 one?
