We will be in touch with One Drop to get the prototypes anodized and everything in place to launch the drop. I will try to update you with a timeline for launch as soon as we have our ducks in a row.
Feel like the blue option should be more of a lighter Massdrop looking blue (I know it's probably going to come in second at this rate behind purple, but it would make sense for a Massdrop colorway to have a Massdrop color blue) Just my thoughts
Assuming that this one goes as well as we are hoping, there will definitely be a basis for us to continue working with the Yoyo community on drops going forward. Feel free to get the ball rolling with other polls to vote on which other throws you are interested in. That will be extremely helpful for the process going quickly.
I thought that part of the appeal of the 7 summits was the exclusivity of it (there are only 7 runs, all in limited quantities). Doing this in 7075 and calling it a 7 summits would make no sense at all(maybe make it 7075 and don't call it 7 summits?). the Valor and Format C are both 7075, and there has been a 7075 Cascade. Any of those would be more likely to get approved for a drop.
Excited for the voting to be done and the buying to start. Renders look good, i was hoping for a more Limey green but i am happy with just about any of the splashes, thanks for being quick about getting this through the voting and being willing to do this for the community One Drop!
Hi everyone. This is the final poll for the community to customize the limited-run version of the Summit YoYo that One Drop is working with us to create.
Previously we have had polls to choose the acid wash with a single splash color anodization. Then the community chose the color of the acid wash base (Black and Clear).
This final poll is to choose the splash color to be added to the design. Keep in mind that the images are artist renders that should give you a general idea of how the design will come out, but the finished product will obviously look different and each Yoyo will have a unique splash.
I'm glad to see this progress a little further. You mentioned pairing this with some quality string on a previous poll, can we get any more info on that?
